I want to encourage those that have mental health issues but stay quiet to speak up, seek support and feel less alone, because having someone understanding the different moods and the affects that causes unsurety in ones life that is dealing with depression, can help navigate the challenges they present. Me being a candidate of mental illness for a good part of my life from past trauma experiences, it took me quite a while to finally surrender and admit that managing the different moods from depression requires an understanding approach, including therapy, sometimes medication, self-care, and most importantly SUPPORT. By implementing positive coping strategies we can make depression less of an impact on our daily lives and work more towards a healthier more fulfilling existence.
